Your opportunity

Philips Emergency Care (EC) offers a full range of cardiac resuscitation devices and complimentary product from easy-to-use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) used in the home and throughout communities, to advanced multifunction monitor/defibrillators used for Advanced Life Support (ALS) applications for EMS/Fire and healthcare professionals. We support our defibrillation products and their users with solutions, accessories, and programs

enabling a broad group of care-providers to save a life anywhere at any time.

Location

This job is home-based and candidates can live anywhere within the continental US that supports easy access to a major airport.

Job Requirements

The Business Sales Leader, National AED Channels will drive all sales activities for the AED business, including driving growth in key vertical markets like Federal Government and Fortune 2000 Corporate. The BSL will also serve as an Emergency Care Leadership Team member.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience or demonstrate the ability to deliver:

  • Strong sales leadership, minimum 5 years experience with a track record of performance exceeding targets

  • Creation and execution of sales strategies for distribution and direct sales channels

  • Experience driving team execution including but not limited to: internal/external messaging and training, contracting, accountability, measurement, KPIs and compensation framework

  • Successful implementation of transformational initiatives targeting, sales growth, team productivity and impact in the market

  • Basic understanding of P&L implications of AED Channels strategy

  • Competence with business tools such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Zoom

  • Managing team selling expenses within budget

  • Understanding the forecasting process in order to deliver accurate forecasts for direct and distribution partner business

  • Establishes key sales commercial and operations plans including processes and strategies for: distribution, business planning, forecasting and KPI selection

  • Gains and maintains market information and knowledge to increase market shares across assigned product portfolio

  • Recruit and engage leading sales individuals and 3rd party organizations in the industry to develop a high performing sales team and distribution network in your geographic region

  • Organize and govern geographic territories to optimize market penetration and minimize channel conflict amongst partners and our direct teams

  • Serve as a liaison to EC Business Unit with responsibility for identifying and surfacing key market considerations to help optimize the Emergency Care portfolio and strategy

  • Engage and recruit strategic partners to develop the best possible channels network for our products

  • Create and maintain optimimum geographic territories to drive team’s engagement with channel partners increasing their focus on Philips

  • Manages pipeline of talent for the organization, and build capabilities to address future needs

  • Collaborate with the Emergency Care Business Unit, Field Marketing, e-Commerce and other Sales colleagues to understand strategy implications for broader organization

  • Execute day to day sales management activities including cadence calls/meetings to review opportunity progression/sales contract execution

  • Determine the optimal coverage of sales territories considering the maturity of regions/ markets, cascade the plan down to individuals being assigned to territories.

  • Develop clear and achievable strategies, objectives and tactical plans based on customer needs and market conditions

  • Ensure un-compromised implementation of the standard Philips business processes, quality standards and standards of business conduct according to Philips policies

  • Ensure sales efforts align with and support organizational strategy, SPoR (both long and short-term), and BMC plans
