In this role, you have the opportunity to, co-innovate with strategic customers and partners to improve the delivery of healthcare in a more effective way to achieve better outcomes and higher patient safety in our market.

Growing deep customer insights, translating them into meaningful solutions and successful commercial partnerships is another important element.

You will also link the market relevant customer needs and the global innovation focus of our businesses to have the highest impact in bring value.

You are responsible for

  • To engage with C-Suite representatives in order to drive sales.

  • To develop strategies to best demonstrate medical expertise during the engagement phase of must-win accounts.

  • To review and revise tenders, commercial documents, and engagement strategies with a specific ‘medical specialist’ point of view.

  • To research or review regulatory, clinical, or market issues related to his/her field of expertise and ensure these are appropriately reflected in engagement strategies.

  • To build and sustain a relevant KOL network in the market, in order to drive engagement with C-Suite customers.

  • To ensure marketing and branding materials are improved with (clinical) knowledge from areas of expertise.

  • Collaborate and build cross-Philips relationships with colleagues in R&D to develop harmony within the greater Philips communities.

  • Educate internal audience on clinical and medical topics and cultivate knowledge sharing on clinical insights.

  • To improve HTS consulting services by bringing in innovation, business and master planning expertise from CMO network

  • Provide consultation and process content expertise to end-users, assist with resolving issues, and recommend solutions.

You are a part of the Global Medical Strategy and Innovation team of PHILIPS and a key player in the North American Market organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A minimum of 5 years working in a Medical specialty in preferably cardiology, anesthesiology, critical care or radiology.

  • Worked several years clinically, ideally in various positions and institutions.

  • Incremental experience in Health Economics, IT or, Business Management is a plus.

  • International working experience is welcome, but not a prerequisite.

  • Results-oriented mind set.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with the broader medical community in Philips to share and leverage best practices

  • Be an advisor to colleagues in the engagement team and beyond on relevant topics within area of expertise

  • Experience educating and training the broader market salesforce on the fundamentals of VBHC, HEMA and relevant clinical topics

  • Experience with building credibility to C-Suite customers on topics related to clinical process consulting
