Picture Yourself at Pega:

As Director of Ecosystem Operations, you will drive non-selling operational programs providing close support to the regional Alliances teams to ensure business continuity, give critical insight and improve effectiveness. You will manage systems, tools, reports and analytics and give input to the FLT, Sales Management, Global Sales Operations and Sales enablement. You will be responsible for overall sales strategy and successful execution of that strategy.

You lead the Ecosystem and Alliances Operations team to develop insightful and actionable plans, oversee day to day sales process execution, and implement new sales strategies, processes & technologies. In addition, you will collaborate with the leaders of many cross functional teams to drive strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the company. You will challenge the status quo and deliver consistent excellence, new strategies, and team execution.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Manage a team of 3+ direct reports and work directly with the leaders of Alliances/Partner Ecosystem Organization and the Global Sales Operations organization to develop and deliver solutions in the following areas:

  • Provide strategic leadership related to analysis/data-driven insights for the FLT and the Global Sales Management team.

  • Must have a complete understanding of the business strategy and sales model for each region to ensure that the appropriate data and analytics support mechanisms are in place to drive business results.

  • Drive sales strategy changes through analytical insights for the annual go-to-market strategy. Establishes KPI’s, dashboards and tactical management reports needed to implement and monitor the success of the strategy

  • Act as a key partner to all levels of leadership to identify areas of improvement needed to achieve goals. Manage, monitor, review and report regional activity. Provide direction and advice to Sales leaders on key data measuring business performance, considering industry best practices

  • Manage activities and performance of direct reports; provide mentorship and coaching to enhance performance

  • Provide thought leadership for sales strategy/models, effectiveness and operational processes resulting in outstanding sales effectiveness and efficiency

  • Lead a team of Sales Operations resources who support sales leaders

  • Drive operational execution on a day to day basis, delivering on commitments and proactively meeting needs of the sales team.

  • Challenge sales leadership status quo; drive positive and impactful change in the business from initiation of ideas, through to collaborative agreement, and detailed execution and change management

  • Drive sales coverage, organization selection and review on an ongoing basis in partnership with sales leadership

  • Manage the forecast process including accuracy in Sales Automation

  • Drive Effectiveness programs and track all actions through to completion with the management team

  • Review leading indicators of success and consult with Sales leadership to drive enhancement

  • Deliver useful analysis and recommendations that lead to sustainable sales success

  • Continually communicate status, actions and progress ensuring sales alignment and adoption

  • Provide coaching to team, drive personal development and hold the team accountable for high standards of performance consistent with Pega’s culture

Engage in cross functional team projects and programs

  • Cross Functional Engagement

  • Engage in effective cross functional meetings and programs with other teams to ensure sales needs are met

  • Work with the Global sales operations team to deliver requirements on global improvement initiatives

Who You Are:

  • An intelligent, motivated, collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills and progressive experience in analytics, B2B SaaS demand generation, data management and marketing technology

  • Master collaborator, ability to influence and build teamwork

  • Leader with a strong ability to structure data and analytics support mechanisms with analytical skills in interpreting data to recommending actions

  • Effectively able to work on multiple programs at one time, setting priority levels and service delivery

  • Ability to successfully complete change management initiatives demonstrated through experience

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or similar discipline, Masters preferred

  • 12+ years of related experience in operational analytics, project management and sales operations within an Alliances or Channel ecosystem preferred

  • 8+ years of management experience leading focused, high performance teams

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a SaaS sales model – understands sales roles, success metrics, and sales process in this model

  • Strong presentation skills and experience

  • Discretion with sensitive information – treating all as potentially confidential and/or proprietary

  • Proficient in Business Objects, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio etc.

  • Expertise with Tableau is not required, but highly recommended
