How will you make an impact?

As the Senior Manager of Product Management, you will lead a small team of product managers to drive the roadmap and vitality of new and existing products for a diverse portfolio of portable instruments (XRF, LIBS, Raman, FTIR, NIR), leading a small team of product managers to develop and operationalize programs and initiatives to enable our customers' success and drive growth in existing and new market segments.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of product managers to achieve product vitality, revenue growth and profitability targets.

  • Define end-to-end product lifecycle requirements for the business and execute on all product related tasks including portfolio optimization, portfolio strategies and pricing plans, driving continuous improvement in cross-functional processes.

  • Partner closely with R&D team to translate customer needs to a pipeline of innovation and ensure excellence for launches through each stage of the established new product development and introduction process.

  • Partner with strategic marketing, applications scientists and downstream marketing to align strategy and execution of marketing efforts for the products in the portfolio.

  • Drive product support strategy, including commercial and service enablement and training, as well as customer education and resources.

  • Collaborate with commercial team to align on sales pipeline objectives and build effective customer feedback loops to translate insight into better solutions and targeted marketing strategies.

  • Support ongoing analysis of end market, application, regional and competitive dynamics to understand market size and growth, technology trends, and current / future customer needs that will be used in strategic plans, roadmaps, market development efforts, marketing campaigns and trade-off decisions.

  • Coach, mentor and develop talent in the best methodologies for product management.

How will you get here?


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, scientific field or equivalent required.


  • 3+ years' experience in product management having led products through full lifecycle in both mature and emerging markets including product development and launch experience utilizing stage-gate processes required.

  • 2+ years of people management or demonstrated coaching experience required.

  • Financial analysis skills preferred.

  • Large, global, matrix, multicultural team environment preferred.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

  • Excellent business judgment and ability to remain agile, working to move complex issues to resolution quickly and effectively.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
