​Location/Division Specific Information

This position is located within the Chemical Analysis Division apart of the Analytical Instrument Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The Chemical Analysis business provides a broad mix of analytical instruments and services to a diverse range of end-user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Life Sciences, Medical, Energy, and Minerals and Mining. Its instruments are deployed globally in the field and on the line, in results-oriented environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. The Chemical Analysis business operates within a global footprint with more than 2,000 colleagues, delivering product solutions to customers that allow for confident, on-the-spot decision-making.

What will you do?

  • Act as single point of contact for eCommerce, from helping commercial reps troubleshoot customer order issues to leading eCommerce expansion projects

  • Work with product management, regional marketing, channel management and strategic pricing teams to ensure alignment for promotion planning and markdown strategy, while maintaining a wide breadth of available products.

  • Support business unit product management and product marketing teams

  • Understand core metrics traffic and conversion analysis.​ Monitor results and improve conversion.​

  • Build effective customer communication campaigns to increase click through rates, conversions, new customer acquisition and retention.

  • Devise organic search strategies. Work with search engine optimization analyst to test and recommend efficient search engine optimization strategies for the website.

  • Lead all aspects of paid strategy, implementation & execution of all online marketing campaigns, including search, display advertising, video, retargeting, and display networks

  • Provide key metrics at established cadence with a recap of product performance and sales. Highlight primary tactics that drove sales.

  • Track and share B2B and B2C eCommerce and retail trends as well as competitive landscape information.

  • Monitor competitor marketing efforts and industry trends to take appropriate preemptive and adaptable action.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelors degree.

Experience

  • 5-7 years experience in eCommerce or marketing environment

  • Experience working on websites for global or multinational companies preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to think strategically as well as implement and go into action

  • Ability to create a collaborative team environment and complete projects that bridge multiple departments and divisions

  • Strong analytical/modeling skills with the ability to convert raw data into practical insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (able to: communicate ideas with senior leaders, build and deliver business cases & marketing content, gain consensus, and build informative messaging, etc.)

  • Ability to evaluate feedback and translate into requirements and business process improvements

  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to optimally run multiple projects and deliver timely and on-budget

  • Be able to work independently in remote environment. Self starter.

  • High level of intensity and constant change

  • Proficient knowledge of modern digital marketing, eBusiness, eCommerce, UI/UX, and general website standard methodologies
