Job Summary:
The Communications intern for the summer of 2023 will work in the Global Communications & Marketing function of Raytheon Missiles and Defense and will be a hybrid assignment. The intern’s primary focus will be on graphic design support for communications campaigns including the creation of PowerPoint presentations and digital content. Other job responsibilities may include event support, copywriting and creating and monitoring social media posts. This role will work across the various communications teams to get exposure to the full breadth of the communications function.

Qualifications you Must Have:
Currently enrolled in college working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications we Value:
Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint (please include link to portfolio with resume)
GPA of 3.0 or higher

This position is for an actively enrolled junior, senior or post-grad intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
Sophomore Administrative - must have completed 30 or more credit hours of college by start of internship
Junior Administrative - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship
Senior Administrative - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship
Post-Graduate Administrative - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
