PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Entertainment Tech is responsible for operating and maintaining all event production equipment. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and tear down convention meeting rooms for all A/V needs (sound, lighting, projection, etc)

• Operate the lighting console at main stage

• Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be on IATSE Local 53 Union referral list

• Minimum three years of experience working in showrooms, arenas and/or convention meeting rooms as a stage technician / A/V technician in a large or small resort

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
