This individual will be dedicated to our customer channels, which emphasizes business/domain knowledge and delivery accountability, and minimizes ramp-up / ramp down costs.

  • Organizes and orchestrates overall aggregated IT resource planning and prioritization for a ETX channel based upon the business outcomes and priorities that have been established within the business lines.

  • Coordinates with “Delivery Leads” and/or “Product Owners” to include full analysis of need, internal skill, and capacity analysis, and assists in the execution of demand fulfillment activities.

  • Manage portfolio financials of approximately $100M investment (project and baseline); ensure realization benefits of Portfolio CBA

  • Oversee departmental demand/capacity and bench management (i.e off-project resources), including:

  • Optimize cost and revenue by managing a consistent supply/demand planning process in partnership with the Delivery Leads and Product Owners

  • Ensure maximize utilization of the resources across the organization, minimizing unassigned time and proactively allocating tasks during non-charge time

  • Plan and facilitate resource demand planning and fulfillment meetings as necessary.

  • Executes “forward planning” and analysis activities to stay ahead of the current resource demand

  • Generate and review reports with leadership on actual and projected utilization

  • Responsible for reporting and analysis of aggregated portfolio health for the Channel Heads.

  • Facilitate structured tradeoff across Products and Channels, working with other portfolio leads, to reallocate resources based on priorities and coordinate interdependencies across portfolios. Establish an escalation model and use it to resolve IT resource contention across divisions and/or Channel Heads as needed.

  • Identify project delivery efficiencies and planning considerations, including sequencing, bundling, etc, by looking across the domain portfolio.

  • Identify portfolio conflict, contention and barriers to execution and delivery plan.

  • Accountable for ensuring the projects adhere to defined processes and standards.

  • Be a leader of change, requiring tremendous skills to influence, collaborate and lead in a heavily matrixed environment.

Basic Requirements/Role Characteristics :

  • Individual typically has 10 years of related work experience and may have significantly more.

  • A minimum of 8+ years of IT leadership, business unit, or other functional leadership experience.

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong financial acumen, prior budget responsibility strongly preferred

  • Experience managing a large portfolio and/or serving as program manager

  • Demonstrated commitment to talent development; enjoys mentoring and providing OTJ training.

  • Intimate knowledge of Project Management

  • Agile experience

  • Track record of successful management of conflicting priorities

  • A consummate relationship builder and a trusted advisor

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
