Multi-Media Communications Consultant

The Team

This is a newly formed team that is bringing together associates from across the division who focus on different components of media and production communications to create a strong and cross functional team that can partner with and support our MMFA leadership, field communications and other business partners to ideate, develop and create creative and engaging communications that address and support MMFA messaging, objectives and readiness initiatives.

The Impact

As a Multi-Media Communications consultant on our team, you will help formulate and implement a digital communication strategy that will help us deliver key messages and program implementation plans to our field force. You will work closely with our internal and field business partners to identify the best way to motivate and educate the field in support of our strategy and drive sales goals.

You will work with:

  • Your team to better understand our current communications/digital landscape and design a strategy with the appropriate tools/resources allowing us to remain effective and relevant in how we share information with our field audiences.

  • Field partners, internal business partners and readiness and communications teams to learn how we currently deliver communications, how audiences "want" to receive communications, and how that can be applied across all MMFA communications. Using your knowledge of all media platforms you will work to help implement a strategy for field communications.

You will be responsible for working with the media production team and other business partners to:

  • Develop media strategy and standards that support MMFA communication objectives, readiness plans and brand guidelines.

  • Consult with business owners, readiness teams and leadership to develop plans for creative solutions that align with communications needs, timelines, budgets, content matter, production requirements, etc.

  • Conceptualize, script, record, edit and deliver programming that meets or exceeds business objectives and quality standards.

  • Follow standard work for attaining legal and compliance approval on proposed and final scripts, as well as selection of featured field and external speakers/talent.

  • Assist in the creative design, coordination, and/or technical support for in-person events, webinars and live-stream programming.

  • Ideate, propose and implement annual MMFA business themes.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in media production

  • HS Diploma

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Strategic management and planning experience

  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve

  • Strong history of sound decision making

  • Demonstrated experience and comfortable working in an Agile environment

  • Assists in the development and definition of the business partners’ strategy

  • Fostering a culture that supports empowerment of your team, finding ways to uplift the group, while challenging them to perform better every day

  • Demonstrating positivity during challenging times, having the courage to find new ways to operate, thriving and learning quickly in ambiguous situations and able to figure out how to get the job done

  • Exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations

  • Proven ability to assess and multitask to prioritize changing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proven track record of achieving results

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Financial Services, or experience in working in another regulated environment

  • Organized, Reliable, Creative problem solver who consistently looks for new ways to deliver high-quality results

  • Ability to independently coordinate, digitize, edit, and output audio and video projects using digital recording and editing software, hardware and online meeting tools.

  • Ability to conceptualize, produce and implement PowerPoint and motion graphics

  • Can take direction well but also capable of delivering sensitive or difficult information tactfully

  • Self- starter who can demonstrate a willingness and capacity for learning and willingness to jump in and help others on the team as needed.



Salary range

  • Salary range for this position is 80,00.00 – 100,000.00 USD Annual. **Salary commensurate with experience.
