MassMutual Field Deployment Relationship Manager in Springfield, Massachusetts
The MMFA Field Deployment Relationship Manager is a key role within the field readiness strategy & deployment organization. MassMutual Financial Advisors is the distribution arm of MassMutual. The Field Deployment Relationship Manager will work directly with the leadership in our firms to drive accountability for all readiness activity supporting initiatives being deployed to the field, as well as, driving adoption of our digital platform. The RM will have a deep understanding of strategic priorities and initiatives being driven from within MMFA and through the manufacturer and how it will impact our firms. Additionally, the RM will be accountable to understand issues and concerns being shared by the firms and working with business partners to drive and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Drive accountability within assigned firms for successful readiness planning and deployment of initiatives at the local level. including continued adoption of our digital platform.
Work closely with General Agent, Practice Development Specialist(PDS) and firm trainers to ensure effective train-the-trainer model in place and firm readiness plans are developed and executed.
Experts in knowledge, functionality and use of MassMutual’s digital platform.
Proactively identify opportunities to help drive adoption of our digital platform; collaborate with Field Experience RM (A360) or other key resources to define approach/resources needed
Present at agency meetings, training meetings, conferences/events and to new recruits/top advisors to showcase our digital platform and drive engagement and adoption.
Build relationships in assigned firms; be the go-to person for questions and support related to strategic initiatives being deployed to the field.
Serve as primary contact for field feedback; coordinate support needed to resolve issues/concerns.
Work collaboratively with critical home office resources for overall firm success.
Partner closely with readiness project management team to drive readiness activity and identify additional readiness needs/opportunities.
Understand digital platform adoption rates/metrics in assigned firms and work with firm leadership to improve when needed; monitor participation in readiness activity; escalate concerns or issues to appropriate stakeholders.
Work with Firm Readiness team to identify gaps in firm PDS roles, where potential support is needed to bring in a new PDS, or help upskill a PDS.
Develop strong knowledge of strategic priorities within MMFA; understand the 5 pillars and how the organization is driving them; be a proponent of key messages around the value of MMFA and its mission.
Participate in GAX and AAX committee meetings to understand key issues/concerns being raised by the field.
Ownership of Agency Experience Office coordinating all activity within it; Utilize Agency Experience Office to understand, test and learn the fields experience when interacting and conducting business with MassMutual, understand issues and work with appropriate resources to identify and implement solutions.
Provide status reports summarizing field engagement to ensure leadership is fully informed; speak effectively and knowledgeably to all readiness activity underway, what it means and how it’s being delivered in assigned firms.
The Minimum Qualifications:
At least 4+ years’ experience in the financial services industry
Experience working directly with the field/general agents
Relationship management experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work quickly and independently with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely organized, detail-oriented individual who is capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Proven ability to collaborate within team and cross-functionally and influence outcomes
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities and a strong work ethic
