The Creative Content Manager is a dynamic, collaborative role within the Marketing Planning & Deployment team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing on the creative direction for MassMutual’s local advertising platform.
As a creative leader, the incumbent will:
Identify, develop and measure advertising campaigns that amplify and extend the MassMutual master brand across diverse local markets and market segments.
Develop a broad portfolio of on-brand, compliant creative assets across a range of media including digital, print, OOH, and video.
Drive the creative vision for local advertising, maximizing the effectiveness of the content and monetizing the co-branding of content with our field partners (firms and advisors).
Develop and manage an annual content calendar that is aligned with national brand campaigns, business partner priorities, and industry events.
Demonstrate ROI on all content and campaigns, in partnership with the Field Advertising Lead.
Act as the central point of contact for advertising content creation across a wide range of internal and external business partners, building strong alignment between the MassMutual master brand and local extensions.
Optimize current and future processes to ensure efficient development and delivery of creative assets across a variety of stakeholders (including Marketing & Business Development, Product, Sales, HR and others).
Plan, write and edit financial and technical copy, promotional materials, and digital advertising.
Manage a portfolio of creative vendors to supplement our in-house capabilities, as needed
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
Proven experience in developing and executing multi-disciplinary content strategies across a range of media
Solid professional portfolio of past multi-channel advertising work, with examples of experience with digital, OOH, print and direct response messaging
Deep expertise in advertising, brand management and technical writing, preferably at an agency
Ability to independently assess business needs and develop cross-functional solutions; proven track record of delivering tangible ROI on content campaigns
Ability to handle ambiguity and scope/requirement changes, and work across disciplines with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and execute on deliverables in deadline-driven environment
Strong project management, planning, and client management skills
Excellent written and oral communication ability
