Olympus America Inc. Product Manager in Southborough, Massachusetts
Bachelor's Degree is required, with MBA preferred.
External: Minimum of 5 years of experience providing overall leadership in the market as well as evaluating a given market and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and developing and implementing strategies; OR, a Master's Degree/MBA with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Internal: Minimum of 3 years Olympus experience combined sales marketing operations sales support upstream R&D service; OR, a Master's Degree/ MBA with a minimum of 2 years Olympus combined experience as above.
Ability to travel 30 to 40%, including internationally.
Proven track record of launching products to market is desired.
Experience in medical product management or medical sales.
Ability to project a professional image and strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team#Self motivated, confidant individual with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Results oriented individual with track record of meeting established goals and expanding market share.
Ability to strategically plan and tactically implement#Strong inter functional management.

A typical day for you will include:
Monitoring sales trends and updating forecasts as necessary to meet demand.
Monitoring of market trends including competition, procedural market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies.
Conducting product launch studies and clinical validation activities.
Creating marketing collateral and tools to support the selling process.
Field work with sales, sales management, and clinical team.
Creating and implementing the tactics that support the marketing strategies to include pricing, positioning, programs and promotions that are in line with the strategic business plan.
Developing relationships with MD product champions and key opinion leaders who will influence broader market acceptance.
Maintaining your expertise as the product and clinical specialist by attending procedures, courses, tradeshows, and staying abreast of industry changes and advancements.
Creating training presentations, tools and conducting training for sales at training sessions, national sales meeting, tradeshows, accounts, etc.
Assist with creation, execution and support of Surgeon Education programs.
Facilitate the design and implementation of clinical studies and white papers that supports the overall imaging initiatives.
Perform all other essential duties as directed.
