CROSSMARK Tour Manager in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts


Marketing Werks, a CROSSMARK company, is hiring for a Tour Manager. The Tour Manager is a dynamic, energetic, and motivating leader whose primary responsibility is to inform and educate consumers on our client’s product. This is a dedicated position for the duration of the tour and requires 100% travel. The Tour Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the team and event site (as well as setup and breakdown) to ensure flawless execution and engage with participants through various programming elements. Participants (and participant’s pets) arrive onsite, register on a tablet, and begin their journey through the Seresto Circle of Love experience. The Tour Manager will be responsible for leading a mobile marketing tour, which will visit 6 markets and 6 large pet-friendly events from May to September, including managing staff, driving the box truck (potentially across the country) and acting as a brand educator/spokesperson.

During the week leading up to each of the 6 larger events, the team will attend a few retail or vet clinic visits in each market. Since the major events are scattered throughout the summer, after wrapping up each of the main events, the Managers will store the truck and event equipment, and fly home.

About a week prior to the next scheduled event, the Managers will fly back to the previous market where the truck was stored, pick up the truck, and drive to the next market. Repeat this process in each market.


Responsibilities during activation weeks:

  • Weekly coordination with Marketing Werks, and potentially onsite event contacts, temp staff, etc.

  • Managing all onsite activities for setup through event activation and teardown. Ensuring proper storage and maintenance of all event site elements. Thorough weekly event recaps, that include online written reports with event highlights, key learnings, photos, etc. Managing premium distribution and reporting weekly inventory.

  • Training and managing on-site local temp staff, and signing staff timesheets at completion of event. Setting up and maintaining event site elements including 360 video area, and communicating with technology vendor to troubleshoot through issues.

  • Tracking corporate credit card charges and submitting expense reports.


  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Two years promotional/marketing experience in a management position

  • Tech savvy / overseeing tech equipment

  • Must be: professional, organized and outgoing

  • Communicative with internal Marketing Werks staff

  • Able to get along with other crew members

  • Able to lead and motivate a team

  • Successful at resolving conflict

  • Flexible and able to adapt well to challenging situations

  • Travel continuously during each of the 6 event weeks

  • Able to connect and interact with event attendees and engage a crowd

  • Must be able to travel nationally

  • Must be comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck, potentially across the country for several days in a row

  • Must have valid license

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Must be comfortable with multi-hour, labor-intensive setup

  • Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs with the physical attributes to complete an event site setup

    • Training: May 21-23 (Wisconsin)
    • Event 1: May 26-27 (Michigan)
    • Event 2: June 9-10 (New Jersey)
    • Event 3: July 6-8 (Chicago)
    • Event 4: July 14-15 (Massachusetts)
    • Event 5: September 15-16 (California)
    • Event 6: September 29-30 (Georgia)
