Marketing Operations Manager

Position Summary

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who is an expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support all aspects of our marketing automation platform and join our experienced and highly collaborative team. This is a hands-on role in maintaining and building on a platform that supports demand/lead generation, nurturing, lifecycle, email and content marketing for both inbound and outbound marketing activities. You will establish best practices that include list segmentation, distribution methods, performance reporting, progressive lead capture and scoring.

The Marketing Operations Manager will be an integral part of the team. To be successful in this role, you must be able to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, enjoy working in an evolving environment and be adaptable to taking on new responsibilities as business needs develop.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

Location

This is a remote role for candidates in the Northeastern US and willing to travel twice per quarter, or on an as-needed monthly basis, to our Bedford, Massachusetts office.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of the Marketing Cloud platform with a focus on lead management, email automation and database segmentation

  • Work as a key member of the Marketing team to ensure marketing best practices and processes are fully aligned, and that systems integrate and synchronize well with the current marketing technology stack

  • Serve as the subject matter expert with colleagues on email nurtures, lead scoring, and segmentation processes, and provide training and support to marketing team members

  • Create and develop forms, form handlers, landing pages, UTMs, preference centers, and subscription center updates

  • Establish and provide ongoing analytics on database health and campaign performance

  • Develop reporting for marketing campaigns with a focus on business outcomes and key marketing and sales metrics

  • Partner with the Sales Operations team as it relates to CRM and marketing automation coordination and functionality. Lead routing, source and dashboards

  • Manage the marketing operations ticketing system

  • Respond and assist colleagues

  • Familiarity with can-spam, compliance, GDPR and privacy policies

  • Monitor critical success factors for the business and remedy identified problems

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing automation workflow and B2B demand generation experience is required

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must, along with hands-on CRM experience

  • Expertise in creating landing pages, and fluency in HTML and CSS

  • Hands-on experience with SQL

  • Strong understanding of building back-end nurture paths and setting up preference centers

  • Experienced in advanced segmentation and data configuration

  • Strong background in email marketing and digital conversion

  • Good understanding of marketing operations processes including campaign A/B testing, execution, Q&A testing, and conversion measurement

  • Proficiency using MS Office suite, intermediate knowledge of Excel preferred

  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to assume responsibility for specific project deliverables

  • Excellent follow-up skills with great attention to detail

  • Creative problem-solving skills; organized, agile and focused on results

Compensation and Benefits

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role may be eligible for a market competitive bonus upon accepted offer.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
