EBSCO Information Services Sr Usage Product Manager in Remote, Massachusetts

EBSCO is seeking a driven and empathetic Product Manager to own and lead product usage management efforts enterprise-wide. Effective management of product usage is a key part of EBSCO’s mission to provide access to information for all users, when, how, and where they need it.
This is a high visibility, highly collaborative role working with many teams to foster usage awareness and practices in product development. Passion for data analysis is a must, as is deep knowledge of data analysis concepts, tools, and practices. The Usage Product Manager acts as a leader across the company, and collaborates closely with UX design, product, technology, and executive stakeholders.
Duties:
Program Management
Track usage across EBSCO’s range of products
Maintain reports on product usage for executive stakeholders
Maintain customer-facing documentation on the state of usage of EBSCO’s products, with clear guidelines for customer interpretation
Assess usage data understanding and identify gaps across EBSCO’s teams; facilitate training where needed
Manage consumers of usage data (transaction logging) and coordinate usage audits
Oversee the quality of data; implementing governance over usage data management.
Champion security and privacy of usage data in collaboration with the governance council.
Product Management
Act as the voice of the customer for usage; motivate teams to keep usage in mind
Own the vision around usage data, and influence company strategy and executive stakeholders
Own and maintain a roadmap for usage-impacting enhancements
Work with other Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to define usage logging and reporting requirements and priorities
Work with sales and customer satisfaction teams to inform and support usage reporting strategy and market needs
Evangelize understanding of usage reporting and usage data, and conduct presentations internally and externally as needed
Subject Matter Expertise
Act as subject matter expert on usage reporting needs, analysis tools, and technical questions
Provide guidance and direction for usage reporting & analysis tools

Who you are / Relevant Experience:
Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

Required Experience:
7+ years working in a Product Management, Product Owner, or Business Analyst capacity in a software delivery capacity OR equivalent experience.
2+ years working in a lean-agile software development environment
Experience gathering, organizing, and evaluating information or data as input from stakeholders to determine requirements and specifications.
In-depth experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau
Preferred Experience:
Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner that leads to decision and action. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical professionals.
Demonstrates excellence at prioritizing tasks, and projects.
Able to continuously align expectations among technology groups and business owners.
Understanding of system and solution architect/engineering at a level to assist with decision-making and sequencing of key technological infrastructures that are needed to execute dependent user stories.
Analytic skills to help collect and analyze data with the goal of developing creative, rational solutions; willingness to get into the details and drive clarity from ambiguity.
Target Annual Compensation Range: $123,330 - 176,185 This Pay Target range includes a bonus target of 5% of the base salary.
