Job Description Summary
CLEAResult is hiring an Account Management Consultant (AMC) to support the EnergySmart Grocer program. The program serves mid to large-sized grocery stores customers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The AMC will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key program customers, contractors and partners, and driving energy efficiency projects with regional and National grocery chains.
The AMC will coordinate cross-state projects, present energy savings reports as well as developing strategies to drive increased savings acquisition and prepare sales forecasts. The AMC will manage and promptly resolve customer concerns, record and track customer interactions in accordance with program and client procedures and verify product installations and that all paperwork received is accurate and complete. The AMC is accountable for achieving specific energy efficiency and revenue goals for CLEAResult’s current programs and for the company’s long-term strategy.
The successful candidate will have a background in account and project management, able to build relationships and rapport with grocers and contractors as well as making and closing deals to delivery kWh and therms savings. He or she will leverage their energy efficiency expertise to drive decision making on all aspects of project activities and drive projects forward.
Proactively develops, manages and expands customer, contractor and utility representative relationships to meet defined energy savings targets
Acts as an energy consultant, develops project scope and encourages implementation of recommended energy efficiency projects including refrigeration, HVAC, food service and lighting
Accurate project forecasting and coordination with operations support team
Contribution towards program strategy for achieving energy savings goals, program success, and customer and client satisfaction
Facilitates and tracks multiple energy efficiency projects and initiatives, using project management skills to coordinate with numerous project players and utility representatives
Coordinate with subcontractors, utility staff, customers, vendors, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, marketing, Program Management, etc.) to provide technical and operational consultation on program services and incentives and ensure program success
Advises Account Managers on team to help accomplish their goals and development
Develops creative ways to achieve program objectives including new measures development and scopes relevant tasks
Delivers to revenue, and kWh and therms savings goal for grocery and other programs
20% - 40% regional travel required, may require overnight stays
Additional Job Description
12+ years’ experience, BA/BS, CEM preferred
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer, client, and contractor relationships with high level of satisfaction
Complete understanding and wide application of energy efficiency, sales and technical principles, theories and concepts
Experience presenting to variety of audiences, strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, detail and goal-oriented and organized
Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Proven familiarity with core business metrics (Simple Payback, ROI, IRR, NPV) preferred
