Manager Global Strategic Marketing, Product Innovation will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and commercializing groundbreaking offerings for the arthroscopic equipment solutions (AES) product portfolio within Mitek Sports Medicine as well as partnering with our digital solutions and OR integration teams to deliver novel technologies to our customers. This position will serve as the product manager for several new and key product introductions.

Responsibilities included:

  • Identify, propose, and commercialize innovative offerings

  • Partner closely with customer key opinion leaders to uncover and prioritize key unmet needs

  • Work closely with engineering and new product development teams to assess new product concepts and rapidly deliver new products to the market

  • Develop and pitch business cases for new offerings and product improvements to the Mitek leadership team

  • Lead new product launches

  • Support business development activities including assessment of external offerings in market and start-ups

  • Lead market research efforts to analyze customer needs and inform product advancements and product decisions

  • Support the Mitek customer advisory board, to ensure strong collaboration and insights are gathered from leading customers

  • Establish and maintain a positive, proactive, high‐energy, and engaging working environment

  • Employ a data-driven approach to ensure customer insights and analytics provide the organization a solid understanding of products, competitors, procedures, and surgical techniques and understands the diverse needs of our customers

  • Work with Regional Marketing and Field Sales Organization to understand and build sales tools and assets


  • Bachelor's degree. An MBA is preferred. Undergraduate engineering degree is preferred.

  • 4+ years (or 2+ with an MBA) with a total progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, Medical Device R&D, Medical Device Sales, or a combination of is required

  • Has significant experience in developing and launching new products

  • Has experience interacting with key customers and sales organizations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities are required

  • Able to work in a hand’s–on, fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Position requires approximately 20% travel including weekends (Domestic and International)
