The senior product manager position is a strategic role to drive growth via market share and share-of-wallet for the aftermarket portfolio. Develops and manages the entire product line lifecycle including growth strategy, research [market needs, detailed competitor offering and pricing], product definition, specifications, performance, pricing, costing, design, manufacturing, service and product line end of life. Identifies the needs of the product for a sustained product lifecycle; works directly with Marketing Managers, customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, service and suppliers/vendors.
Responsibilities include opportunity analysis [product prioritization, market attractiveness, regional prioritization], full portfolio analysis [offering definition based on revenue/profit potential, sales velocity, and inventory management] full channel management including e-commerce/web, full pricing management [based on market pricing not cost plus pricing], sales analytics, vender partnerships, branding [unique brands and private labeling], and other account activities. Ecommerce strategy that includes Evoqua Advantage channel [and new potential ch development].

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Meet business strategic sales and profitability objectives that align with Company, Division, Segment and Market Vertical strategies for assigned product lines.
Develops and maintains growth strategy and product landscape [market drivers/constraints, regulatory drivers, competitor analysis including pricing and portfolio strategies], market research [by customer type, market vertical and growth opportunity, customer satisfaction measures, voice-of-customer, voice-of-business feedback, product bundling with services and installation, emerging competitors/technologies, opportunities, and threats].
Manages and maintains product value proposition, competitive advantages, pricing, costs, [web content], and all other product related documentation.
Portfolio management includes [product rationalization including discontinuing non-attractive products, product obsolesce and end-of-life management, potential product line expansion strategy with capital, and service products] and international growth strategies. [Research competitive offerings and strategies and ensure the development and management of best in class solutions for aftermarket growth and growth with aftermarket/service bundling. Works with supply chain to reduce cost of products, secure supply and maintain proper inventory.]
Works with vertical marketing and MARCOM to develop and maintain marketing campaigns, lead generation including [e-promotional campaigns and demand creation].
Leads product improvement activities [including new developments, cost reductions and corrective actions resulting from non-conformance costs]. Drive continued improvement for product line including; [new technologies, evolving company capabilities, evolving marketplace and customer needs, regulatory influences, and new market entrants]. Responsible for establishing Product Line escalation path and communication of all product updates or improvements to the organization.
Create and maintain fulfillment library for assigned products [best practices, app notes, case studies, project profiles, white papers, playbooks/primers]
Negotiates requirements and fulfillment of product/market specific conditions with Customers, Market Vertical teams, Sales Reps, Sales Support Staff, Engineering, Manufacturing, Vendors, and Subcontractor/partners.
Be the product expert to the rest of the organization (strategy, application, training, growth)

BS/BA degree in related discipline or advanced degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of five years of relevant experience in product management required.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Ten years of demonstrated success in product/market vertical marketing that includes demand creation, product launch, strategy development and cross team collaboration
Leader with initiative, self-motivating skillset that works autonomously
Strong leadership skills in complex, matrix environment
Strategic proficiency that drives to tactical success
Strong training proficiency (development, delivery, maintenance)
Strong analytical, communication computer, research and data management skills
Demonstrated VOC and VOB proficiency
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : 25%
