General Summary of Position:
Granite is looking for a Social Media & Employment Branding Recruiter to utilize all social media sites and create a brand that attracts potential candidates to the organization. This position has 3 Major focuses that the successful candidate will champion. 1) Managing Social media content that pertains to Employment Branding 2) Responsible for the College Recruiting initiative, including going to Job Fairs and organizing our look at events, 3) Oversee our Internship program at Granite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize social media outlets to produce content and drive awareness to the employment brand for the organization.
Work with multiple groups in an effort around Reputation Management for the Employment Brand, including to responding to social media posts.
Develop & maintain relationships with Colleges around the country, alumni groups, and other public organizations to build our brand awareness and develop a pipeline of potential applicants
Make public presentations at job fairs, networking events, organizations, and schools regarding the organization and opportunities
Manage the Internship program, including recruiting potential Interns at College Job Fairs that you will attend.
Review applications & interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, & salary requirements, & to provide information about the organization & positions
Research/identify, qualify/interview, & support negotiations & document new hires
Confer with management & supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, & skills
Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
Screen & refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
Required Qualifications :
Candidate must possess a strong communication, organizational skills, and creative ability around content. They also must demonstrate ability to multi-task and capability to manage projects.
Candidate must have the ability to work across the organizations with other departments, and the willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
Candidate must have ability to demonstrate strong time management skills.
Prior experience developing social media content.
Prior experience in a networking forum, or public speaking environment.
