Oracle Public Relations Manager, Oracle Industries in Quincy, Massachusetts

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.

Theposition requires a passion for storytelling and ability to turntechnology-centric concepts into easy to understand and embrace stories thatspeak to key audiences.

Thisperson will maintain relationships with key media, bloggers, and influencersand should be highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented. The idealcandidate will also be an excellent writer and able to work cross functionallyto drive teams towards a common goal.

Thelocation of this position is flexible, but the ability to travel to OracleHeadquarters in Redwood Shores, Calif. regularly is preferred.

_Responsibilities_:

  • Lead PR efforts for the C&E andHospitality global business units including PR strategy, content development,launches and media activities.

  • Drive awareness of Oracle s vertical C&Eand Hospitality solutions and the success of their customers through creativecampaigns, news announcements, trend pitching and regular trade and Tier 1media engagements.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on thecustomer storytelling process to share stories via press releases, mediainterviews, event engagement, social media, and other communications activities.

  • Innovate and expand Tier 1 and business press opportunitiesby creating and delivering new types of customer assets and activities thatwill be relevant to the evolving media environment.

BasicRequirements Include:

  • 8-10years of PR experience. Additional experience in campaigns, productmarketing or related customer-interfacing functions preferred.

  • Strong, established business and trade mediarelationships; demonstrated PR results

  • Exceptional project management andprioritization skills. Applies a structured approach to defining, communicatingand solving strategic problems and opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, listening, andwriting skills.

  • Operates effectively in a changing, fast-pacedenvironment.

  • Self-motivated, driven, and achieves measurableresults.

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills and theability to foster cross-functional relationships.
