Gallagher Proposal/Sales Support Specialist in Quincy, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

  • Primarily focused on providing strategic consulting and project management services for prospect and client messaging: RFP responses, new business presentations, stewardship reports and significant client communications, creating new business development communications tools that can be rolled out nationally, and developing infrastructure and systems to improve operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities may include collecting and analyzing data for graphical use in both defensive and prospective marketing materials, building and maintaining an organized library of marketing materials, reporting and monitoring results of new business and retained business efforts, and working with marketing leadership and producers to create and execute client or niche-specific marketing plans.

  • Additional duties may include creating and following up on mass email campaigns, track, and reporting on analytics, tradeshow planning, and working with in-house graphics department to design and complete marketing materials.

Additional Considerations:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing departement as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience required.

  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.


  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, ability to build strong business partner relationships.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities.

  • Self-motivated to achieving targets planning and results driven mind-set.

  • RFP experience a plus.
