Description
Salem Media Group has an excellent opportunity for a Producer in Boston, MA.
What You'll Do:
Operating of radio broadcasting console during a live/local show in addition to possible satellite and syndicated programming
Monitoring of on-air content for content, quality and timeliness
Coordinating commercial orders and execution
Booking and coordinating guests
Creating talk-show content
Editing and recording sports and Shows related content
Writing of news/sports updates
Assisting on-air talent in various ways during live situations and during post-production
Social media posting and promotion
Keeping of show logs
Possible on-air contributions in a supporting role
Possible on-location sound acquisition and producing
Qualifications:
More to know:
Knowledge of operating radio consoles and editing software is a must (ADOBE AUDITION)
A humble approach and a willingness to adapt will serve you well in this position
Knowledge of music also a plus
Knowledge of WEZE and WROL history is another bonus, along with familiarity with Boston and New England
