The Account Manager serves as a valued strategic marketing partner to our BCBSMA business partners to create engaging marketing communications for internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Creative Services, this role works collaboratively with our creative, digital, integrated channels, cx, events and operations teams. This position oversees marketing initiatives for Human Resources,HR-TADEI, Corporate Communications and Bluebikes sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply proven knowledge and understanding of marketing through various channels

  • Identify marketing opportunities based on Divisional goals

  • Build and strengthen business-partner relationships

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns and budgets

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Leverage best practices and competitor knowledge

  • Analyze and present analytics reports providing insights and future recommendations based on results

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules

  • Manage the integrated team throughout the project, from kick off through execution

  • Ensure key strategic criteria and milestones are hit throughout the process

  • Coordinate cross-functional staff and internal resources

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation

  • Identify and adjust process improvement opportunities as necessary

  • Coordinate project wrap-ups and assist with providing reports for project results

  • Qualifications:

  • B.A. in Marketing, Advertising or related field

  • 10+ years marketing experience

  • Experience developing B2B and B2C marketing and promotions

  • Collaborative approach and team builder

  • Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing demands on a daily basis

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Knowledge of Google analytics, Adobe analytics a plus

  • Knowledge of Workfront work management platform a plus
