The Account Manager serves as a valued strategic marketing partner to our BCBSMA business partners to create engaging marketing communications for internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Creative Services, this role works collaboratively with our creative, digital, integrated channels, cx, events and operations teams. This position oversees initiatives for Product Marketing, working closely with the Marketing Managers to integrate and align brand positioning and thought leadership through managing resources within creative services, cx and the digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand scope of B2B marketing strategies

  • Apply proven knowledge and understanding of marketing through various channels

  • Identify marketing opportunities based on Divisional goals

  • Build and strengthen business-partner relationships

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns and budgets

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Leverage best practices and competitor knowledge

  • Analyze and present analytics reports providing insights and future recommendations based on results

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules

  • Manage the integrated team throughout the project, from kick off through execution

  • Ensure key strategic criteria and milestones are hit throughout the process

  • Coordinate cross-functional staff and internal resources

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation

  • Identify and adjust process improvement opportunities as necessary

  • Coordinate project wrap-ups and assist with providing reports for project results

Qualifications:

  • B.A. in Marketing, Advertising or related fieldÂ

  • 10+ years marketing experience

  • Experience developing B2B and B2C marketing and promotions

  • Strong operational and resource management skills

  • Collaborative approach and team builder

  • Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing demands on a daily basis

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Knowledge of Google analytics, Adobe analytics a plus

  • Knowledge of Workfront work management platform a plus
