The College Internship Program (CIP) is a comprehensive postsecondary transition program for young adults on the Autism Spectrum, with Asperger’s, ADHD and other Learning Differences. Our Mission is to inspire independence and expand the foundation on which young adults can build happy and productive lives.

The CIP National Office is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support and implement the branding, marketing, and communications initiatives for the College Internship Program (CIP) and its affiliated programs. This role requires a strategic mindset, a flexible attitude, and a willingness to learn and expand upon marketing and social media trends in the special education industry.

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Senior Marketing Coordinator, but will work hand in hand in crafting and supporting the graphic design and strategic marketing initiatives for the company’s various internal and external campaigns. The role will strengthen CIP’s image and reputation while expanding reach, improving awareness, and driving engagement via various digital initiatives, both paid and organic. The candidate should be able to take brand ownership and elevate the quality of print and digital assets. Graphic Design & Brand Management

Organize, manage, and create visual elements for print and digital assets and advertising (graphics, photography, video)

Create & manage print project processes and define budget constraints

Think creatively and collaborate with various stakeholders on engaging campaigns for a variety of audiences

Support various marketing efforts including, but not limited to


Social Media

Email & Event Marketing

Web Development & Content Creation

Data Management Support & Analytics

Third Party Website Listings

Support marketing, website, and design projects for Spectrum Playhouse & Good Purpose Gallery

Skills, Education and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or related field

3+ years of relevant experience

Advanced knowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Excellent writing and editing skills

Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills

Experience with social media platforms, Google Analytics & Adwords, social media advertising, wordpress

Knowledge of printing process

Knowledge of Learning Differences and/or Autism Spectrum a plus

Ability to travel preferred
