JOB SUMMARY: As the Engineering Document Controller, you\'re tasked with ensuring that all engineering documents, drawings, and data are meticulously organized and consistently up-to-date. Your efforts will be the backbone of our project success, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our engineering endeavors. Collaborating closely with both our engineering team and IT department, you will spearhead the maintenance and enhancement of our data systems. From refining data within data cards to optimizing 3D models and ensuring the seamless integration of engineering paperwork into Lenco\'s ERP system, your work will streamline our processes from conception to completion. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Checks compliance and quality of documents - Reviews blueprints for accuracy, and consistency. - Reviews engineering data cards and exports for consistency. - Maintains and repairs Datacard information as needed. - Controls flow and distribution of documents and maintains revision control. - Assists with the implementation of ERP software with data creation and maintenance - Assists Engineers with file and data management. - Works with Technical writer on controlling documents for engineering and production departments - Works with Purchasing and Bill of Materials to maintain accurate material and product part number export. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Undertake relevant training and development as required - Carry out duties within a realistic time line ensuring that deadlines are met. - Maintain cooperative working relationships, and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse population - Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines - Understand and comply with safety and environmental policies - Other duties as assigned INTERACTION WITH: - Engineering Department - IT Department EXPERIENCE: Previous experience reviewing technical documents along with the ability to spot errors. EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience
