Company Rousselet-Robatel is a global specialty engineering company manufacturing high-technology centrifuge systems for the pharmaceutical & biological, chemical, nuclear, textile, metalworking, and environmental industries. Position The Associate Engineer / Technician will support the design engineering and field service engineering teams to deliver specific client services related to our centrifugation systems. The candidate will work with the engineering teams to inspect, service, and repair centrifuge machinery and associated control systems. As required, the candidate will specify products and services required to repair or maintain the equipment, prepare and issue client proposals, expedite orders, and preserve and maintain inventory levels. The successful candidate will be an adventurer, fast learner, self-motivated, and independent worker with the ability to perform in the field under varying conditions. Training in assembly, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical procedures, and safety will be provided. Essential Responsibilities and Duties - Ensures mechanical operations, standards, and controls are properly maintained by repairing and performing preventive maintenance services according to established standards. - Uses technical manuals as a guide to perform diagnostic checks and symptom analysis by observing and listening to centrifuges in operation, monitoring signal outputs using precision measuring and testing instruments. - Identifying malfunctions and carrying out repairs of defective components by disassembling, cleaning, examining for fatigue, and repairing or replacing as required. - Adjusts, sets, programs functional devices and control instruments. - Conserves maintenance and inventory resources by sourcing, ordering, and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. - Supports customer interaction by addressing providing maintenance information by answering customer\'s questions and requests. - Submit reports documenting mechanical maintenance by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Completing all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures. Experience & Requirements The successful candidate will be a fast learner, self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to interact with the project team. - Associates Degree and/or equivalent technical experience in a electro/mechanical/chemical engineering field. - Knowledge of industrial processing equipment. - Ability to comprehend technical specifications, bills of materials, mechanical and electrical drawings. - Proficiency in MS Office applications, AutoCad also preferred. - Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
