M.S. Walker Trade Marketing Coordinator in Norwood, Massachusetts

This position is on our fast-growing National Brands team, which develops and represents an exclusive portfolio of leading International spirits and wine brands.

What we are looking for:

M.S. Walker is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Trade Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing and sales materials, align on key initiatives for our national wine and spirits brands (West Cork Distillers, St. Elder Artisanal Liqueurs, Grainger’s Deluxe Organic Vodka, etc.) and support our team members and distributor partners across the country. This role will deepen cohesion between the Creative Services department (creative, graphic design, communications, social media) and the sales leadership team to help grow our brands across the country through a vast distribution network. This is an in-office role, though we are open to flexible schedules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Link to our wholesale partners to deliver up-to-date brand and product info

  • Identify, prep and organize key visual and communication assets for existing and new brands and products to inform promotional materials

  • Develop and maintain calendar for key milestones and holidays throughout the year for core national wine & spirits brands to inform marketing needs and materials

  • Identify new avenues and tactics for trade marketing materials, both digital and physical, to position M.S. Walker Brands as a best-in-class supplier

  • Prepare for events, market kickoffs and key meetings

  • Work with National Accounts Director to establish core brand calendars

  • Own brand rebate programs

  • Manage external materials print program, e-distribution of materials and reporting

  • Maintain current stock of core brand promotional materials for local use, and evaluate key market needs

  • Responsible for sourcing, securing pricing and ordering promotional merchandise

  • Track merchandise inventory on an ongoing basis to prevent lapses in stock and reorder on an as-needed basis

  • Maintain promotional merchandise catalogue

  • Submit key products to competitions and key review platforms for ratings and accolades, ensuring deadlines are met and submission information is 100% accurate

  • Assist with promotional mailings to sales partners, media and social media influencers

  • Obtain editorial calendars for key media publications to inform communications team on upcoming opportunities

  • Perform periodic administrative duties, including budget maintenance and analysis, reporting, and various marketing support activities

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University

  • 1-3 Years Professional Experience in marketing, operations, or sales project coordination

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
