Siemens Product Marketing Manager – Chronic Disease Management in Norwood, Massachusetts

The Product Marketing Manager leads all product marketing activities for the Point of Care (POC) Chronic Disease Management portfolio in North America – currently consisting of diabetes and decentralized urinalysis platforms and associated reagents / consumables / other (RCO). The candidate will also manage the regional introduction and ongoing oversight of future POC Chronic Disease Management offerings as they become available, as well adjacent POC portfolio offerings (namely, infectious disease solutions) that will likely utilize similar go-to-market frameworks.

As this individual will maintain responsibilities to develop and execute the strategy for this portfolio, this is an opportunity to a play a leading marketing role in one of the fastest growing markets in the healthcare diagnostics industry.

JobResponsibilities:

  • Serveas the end-to-end owner and go-to individual for defined product portfolios;resident product expert related to F&Bs, performance, competitiveinfo., etc.

  • Keyproduct voice to all internal and external audiences; represents atcompany and industry events. Maintains understanding of competitor productand value proposal

  • Proactively manages all aspectsof product lines to ensure delivery of customer value. Manages the producttactical and strategic initiatives in collab. with Global colleagues andNAM Marketing Team colleagues to build / refine compelling value proposa5lsand related materials

  • Understands full productcapabilities and translates into material. Develops and maintains allproduct value proposals and feature / benefits messaging for region.Ensures company document repository has up-to-date, approved materials

  • Owns all aspects of productlaunch and training for region (in concert with Clinical and SegmentMarketing leads, Global and MarCom). Develops and executes region-specificlaunch plan, pricing, marketing and training material development,forecasting, sales comms., timelines, material and operational set up toensure everything is optimized for Go Live

  • Leveragesdirection from Segment Marketing Manager to prepare and deliver tailoredmaterials and tools for targeted campaigns at key buyer segments. Includescustomer testimonials, proof points and KOL development (via ClinicalMkt.).

  • Key regional contact to Globalcounterparts; ensures voice of market and customer product experience iscontinuously fed to global teams to influence product direction,refinement and development of launch toolkits and messaging

  • IDs,organizes and executes tradeshow experiences to spotlight key products,F&Bs and more

  • Managesall aspects of product lifecycle for region, including sales forcecommunication

  • ProactivelyID’s and helps resolve product or market issues; keeps internal audiencesinformed

  • Develop value analysis tools suchas calculators, guides and presentations to showcase the clinical andeconomic benefits of the portfolio to different stakeholders within healthsystems.

  • Design compelling positioning& messaging for marketing materials that differentiates portfolio inthe market and resonates with customers

  • ID competitive trends; developcompetitive presentations, other assets for sales team

  • Assist and train sales team onproduct positioning and competitive differentiation.

  • Interface regularly with fieldsales, technical field teams and business partners

Knowledge/Skills,Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA stronglypreferred.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevantexperience in Sales, Marketing, Sales Ops. or business development ofclinical diagnostic products.

  • Exposure to / experience increating product training and value analysis tools for sales teams

  • Ability to derive key insightsfrom data sources and convert them into concrete action plans.

  • Ability to prepare and deliverhigh quality product presentations to all levels of the organization;Advanced MS Powerpoint Skills

  • Strong objection handling andconflict resolution skills

  • Ability to influence the actionsand decision making of others in a matrix organization

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  • Must be able to travel 25% ormore as required
