Marathon LS Marketing Coordinator in Norwood, Massachusetts

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support MarathonLS in projects and activities related to its strategic marketing plan. You will be responsible for the written content creation of social media copy, presentations, collateral, website and more for MarathonLS. The Marketing Coordinator position plays a critical role in representing MarathonLS? brand, conveying value to customers, and generating industry engagement, while positioning MarathonLS as an expert and thought leader throughout the industry. This position is based on site in Norwood, MA and will report to the Sales Director. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop a comprehensive understanding of MarathonLS? product and service offerings, value differentiators, target markets and customers, competition and positioning. - Utilize your writing and editing skills to create clear, consistent marketing content for a life sciences audience. - Responsible for the content creation of brand collateral, including but not limited to: marketing materials, sales presentations, brand communications, digital, email and/ social campaigns. - Take ownership of all phases of content production and optimization including planning, information gathering, writing, reviewing, editing, and final sign-off. - Collaborate with the marketing team to measure and report content effectiveness; use insights from analytics to improve content and content strategies. - Collaborate cross-functionally to support brand and company messages and objectives, helping to develop compelling and ROI-driven marketing campaigns. - Ability to utilize data and create reporting to analyze success of key metrics. - Act as a liaison between internal teams such as Operations, Sales and Marketing. - Own relationship with third party web development team for clear communication on marketing initiatives, SEO/SEM optimization, accuracy of web content and general upkeep of partnership. - Support lead generation and business development campaigns. - Enhance visibility and accuracy of Marathon lab supplies through detailed spec sheet creation and photography. - Ensure adherence to company branding and integration of brand guidelines into marketing communication programs. - Ownership of content and accuracy of website all while increasing customer engagement. - Translate information into designs that are visually enticing, easy to understand, emotionally impactful and within brand guidelines. - Ability to replicate branded designs while working in collaboration with graphic designer. - Perform other related duties as required. PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENT: - Must be able to provide writing samples that demonstrate exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex topics into simple, digestible content and design. Must also be able to provide sample design projects. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Strong written and oral communication skills through ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to target audiences while ensuring grammatical accuracy. - High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel), LinkedIn, experience in Adobe Creative Suite, lnDesign and Canva - Highly collaborative and understands the value in working together with internal teams to achieve company targets. - Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
