SUMMARY:

TheEvents Coordinatorwill be responsible for coordinating a range of in-person and virtual events, including trade shows, road show/seminars, event sponsorships and speaking opportunities, externally facing webinars, and global meetings/trainings. You will work with stakeholders in various business units and geographies to develop events that advance UEI’s organizational goals and resonate with target audiences. The right candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated team player with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all aspects of in-person and virtual events, including preplanning, scheduling, logistics, production, budget management, and vendor procurement.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the research and development of event topics that support UEI's growth strategy across key verticals and geographies.

  • Working with the Marketing Communications Specialist, develop and execute effective event promotion strategies through social media, email, digital and print advertising, online landing pages, and other relevant channels.

  • Manage webinar programs including platform ownership and administration, supporting agenda development, securing presenters, registration management, and hosting/moderation duties.

  • Manage event leads and communicate updates to Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in event planning, webinar administration, and event promotion to consistently improve upon and deliver quality experiences.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, communications, or similar field.

  • 3+ years of event planning/trade show experience within a B2B and/or B2C environment, preferably for both in-person and virtual audiences.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Passion for building collaborative relationships with colleagues, senior leaders, industry influencers, and external partners around the world.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft event promotion strategies and materials for external and internal audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365, especially Excel.

  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and NetSuite is a plus.
