Clean Harbors HR Operations Specialist in Norwell, Massachusetts
Attention current Bachelor’s and Master’s students who love tackling new challenges. This Human Resources Operations Intern role is a development-oriented opportunity focused on creating and leveraging business processes for strategic Human Resources projects to support our growing company of 24,000+ employees. This role will support the centralized Human Resources functions in delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR service. The responsibilities will include providing effective and timely support to HR colleagues and employees across the broader organization, taking ownership of day-to-day administrative tasks, and remaining flexible and responsive to additional requests. The Human Resources Operations Intern will sit in our Human Resources Operations group and will be working on projects and tasks that cut across different areas of HR, such as Field HR, Training, Compliance, Employee Engagement, Staffing and Total Rewards.

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
Documents, investigates, and resolves employee, manager, and HR staff inquiries and process questions.
Partners with HR Centers of Excellences to provide support and resolution of issues impacting employees and process.
Supports the Employee Care Team with I9 section two processing and roll out of I9 process improvements across the organization.
Assists with policy and process reviews as well as template, SOP and guide updates.
Conducts exit and stay interviews
Participates in process improvement, automation and other projects/initiatives.
Provides clear, concise, and meaningful workforce information across all levels of the organization
Consults and collaborates with internal customers at all levels of the organization.
The ability to remain agile and evolve as priorities and projects change.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current student working towards bachelor’s or master’s degree
Critical thinking: ability to identify the right audience, message, and goals
The desire to learn and master new skills
Analytical mind; Intermediate PC/Excel skills Required, Advanced Excel skills a plus
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skill
