WATTS Videographer/Editor (Part Time) in North Andover, Massachusetts

The Videographer/Editor is responsible for the planning, execution, and editing of video and audio marketing assets. He/She supports the production of product overview, installation, & maintenance videos, episodic video programming, live broadcasts, and corporate video needs. He/She will assist with set design & preparation, talent sourcing, equipment procurement, and distribution of video content. This is a Part-Time position – 25hrs/week.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Creates and develops multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company videos, external promotional & product marketing videos, training, and other corporate projects

  • Scripts, storyboards and sets deadlines for projects

  • Manages live broadcasts for training and other marketing events

  • Collaborates closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content

  • Plans video shoots; scouts, selects and reserves shoot locations

  • Records and edits video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media

  • Co-manages video library within digital asset management system and YouTube channels

  • Repurposes existing video content for use in marketing and social media

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in television, radio, film, sound or other related new media field.

MANAGEMENT:

  • This position has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 Years’ experience with video and audio production

  • Familiarity with video including professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography

  • Familiarity with audio including small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing

  • Familiarity with post-production including digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms

  • Experience with video editing software including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 360 suite

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Up to 20% travel required

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
