Griswold Home Care, Inc Home Care Agency - Director of Community Relations in North Andover, Massachusetts



  • Build and execute a contact strategy for targeting new account relationships
  • Identify, contact and influence decision-makers within referral base
  • Expand referral base with identified audiences
  • Principal contact/presenter at referral sources
  • Manage referral source perception of our performance and communicate our value proposition
  • Coordinate the purchase and assembly of marketing collateral
  • Partake in community events to develop market referral network
  • Effectively communicates the mission of the company to the public and aligns the efforts of assigned areas to support the mission
  • Represents the company internally and externally in a professional manner
  • Actively demonstrates the company’s philosophy of customer relations, individual respect, teamwork and productivity
  • Perform client intakes
  • Document activity, contacts etc. Input to and update customer relationship management system
  • Conduct telephone intakes with new or potential clients
  • Perform initial home visits with new or potential clients to explain services and obtain a signed service agreement
  • Execute follow-up home visits with existing clients
  • Resolve client, family, and caregiver differences
  • Maintain files to meet all internal, state, and Federal quality and compliance standards
  • Coordinate, screen, and interview prospective caregivers
  • Select and interact with appropriate caregivers
  • Conduct service calls with prospective clients DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Command of Microsoft Office and any other programs used in your respective office
  • Competitive and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Results oriented  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience
  • Prior home care sales/marketing experience
  • Reliable transportation
