WATTS East Coast Regional Sales Manager – Floor Heating in North Andover, Massachusetts

Manages and oversees Watts SunTouch Floor Heating East Coast regional sales opportunities, objectives, and initiatives. Delivers agreed upon sales objective including top line, margin and share growth. Helps develop and execute the Watts sales strategy in rep network, wholesaler channels, and contractors.This position is 100% remote and should be located near a major airport on the east coast.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Executes short and long-term regional sales and demand creation strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs.

  • Leads development of new business opportunities that support the overall regional growth strategy.

  • Identifies and drives new regional business opportunities by creating demand throughout the sales channel.

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Implements sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

  • Oversee administration and operation activities including developing sales processes and sales metrics.

  • Establish sales representative performance criteria, review, and provide feedback.

  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent in 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of successful industry outside sales experience

  • Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations

  • Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills

  • Strong negotiating and decision-making skills

  • Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Main Frame and personal computer skills operating systems a must.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy, targeting large, multi-year accounts, as well as short cycle sales to small and medium sized organizations.

  • Success in implementing and leveraging CRM systems to grow existing accounts/relationships and to develop new customers.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:

  • Reports to the Director of Product Management, Valves/ HVAC

The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
