The demand planning manager is in charge of the full demand planning process. They will lead a team in developing accurate demand forecasts based on statistical modeling, sales and product management input, and market analysis. This position designs and executes strategies and plans to meet company’s short-term and long-term supply chain planning objectives. It will also lead the Product and Demand Review sessions of the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) and will be a key contributor to improving customer experience through superior delivery while minimizing costs. This position will be supporting multiple platforms in a matrix organization. The demand planning manager will lead a team of demand planners. The right candidate will have experience in a matrix organization, be a strong influencer, and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively across all functions. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Develop sales forecast with Business, Product Line and Marketing leaders
Lead the Demand portion of the S&OP process to align all stakeholders on next 12-18 months plans
Define and implement metrics to measure planning performance
Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP and APS systems
Implement and improve planning processes and systems
Improve the customer experience
Manage multiple complex projects
Routinely interact with internal and external customers
Manage a team of planners
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree with specialization in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
- Manage a team of planners
5-8 years’ experience minimum with supply chain planning, continuous improvement initiatives and relevant software applications.
Project Management, APICS or other related certification is preferred

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
