Manager, Communication, Fundraising and Development Position Highlights: In this role you will manage the 104.3 FM Berkshire Talking Chronicle radio reading service which covers a wide variety of tasks such as overseeing and training volunteer readers, securing new radio programming, production editing, inventory management and applying for and managing grants. Additionally, in this role you will assist UCP and the Board of Directors with the various communications (social media and other marketing initiatives) and fundraising activities required to support the UCP strategic plan including the golf tournament, concert, and annual meeting. This role reports directly to the UCP Executive Director. Qualifications: Five years successful experience in marketing, radio communications, or advertising. Able to work well with the community and offer a level of energy and fun to our fundraising activities Must possess outstanding organizational skills Valid driver's license, availability of a private insured vehicle Ability to work flexible hours as needed Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365, remote tools such as Zoom Must be able to navigate specific radio software Be willing to maintain membership in the International Association of Audio Information Services. Must have valid driver's license, current auto insurance, availability of a private vehicle. Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI. Must be able to communicate orally, use hand to finger objects and controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision; reading of written, printed, or computer screen data.
