WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking for a well-rounded B2B & B2C storyteller who can take productions from start to finish. Our work is diverse, from field produced narrative content to thought leadership to high concept campaigns. Virtual and hybrid events are also part of our client offerings, so candidates should have interest and preferably some experience producing virtual events. Digital signage is also part of our mix

In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing all phases of production from pre-through-post. The right producer will have excellent client skills, be highly organized, and creative. Your reel and resume will demonstrate strong storytelling skills, a solid visual design sense, and line producing experience, with an established network of crews and proven ability to stay within budget. You’ll be a key player on a close-knit, highly collaborative team that produces great work and has a great time doing it.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Generate creative concepts and treatments

  • Manage all elements of traditional Video and Virtual Event productions

  • Create and monitor project timelines

  • Schedule and lead client meetings, manage assigned project details

  • Source local and out-of-town freelance crews as needed

  • Conduct tech rehearsals and remote client presentation training

  • Source crews for local and national productions

  • Pre-produce location and studio productions

  • Field produce and direct

  • Supervise edit, graphics and animation sessions

  • Create budgets

  • Secure necessary equipment for productions and assure that they fit within budget constraints.

  • Ensure that all new vendors complete necessary paperwork for the Accounting Department

  • Negotiate rates with vendors and freelance crewmembers if necessary

  • Serve as client’s main contact during pre-production stages

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-have skills & job qualifications

  • 5+ years of video production experience

  • Excellent storytelling skills

  • Excellent client skills

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Working knowledge of Zoom, Teams, and Webex

  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and other online collaboration tools

  • Corporate scriptwriting experience

  • Demonstrable experience as a segment/field producer

  • Demonstrable ability to pre-produce and coordinate multiple ongoing shoots

  • Technical knowledge of studio and field production and post-production

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Track record of creating and adhering to tight budgets

  • Understanding of current trends in video content marketing

  • Understanding of current trends in virtual event production

  • Experience producing virtual events highly desirable

  • Editing experience (Adobe Premiere) not required but preferred

  • Videography experience not required, but preferred

  • Track record of being organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and working well in a team atmosphere as well as having the capability to work well individually, is essential.

  • Strong work ethic, self-directed, self-motivated, patient, persistent and able to get along with coworkers and customers.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, even under stress.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel may be required based on time and location of remote productions as well as meetings at VideoLink Bureaus and client offices.
