Bright Horizons Director, Revenue Operations in Newton, Massachusetts

The Director of Revenue Operations at Bright Horizons is responsible for supporting the automation of B2B lead to invoice process for the Center and Back up businesses at Bright Horizons. This position plays a key role in optimizing our sales processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving revenue growth through the effective utilization of Salesforce Cloud technologies. The right candidate will put the field first, utilizing their expertise in growth operations and a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms to reduce administrative burden of Client Services and Client Relations teams, while improving the visibility to data that drives positive business outcomes.

As an advisor connecting business process to salesforce technology, the Director, Revenue Operations will use analytics to discover, develop and implement processes, reports and dashboards to enable success at each stage of the sales process. In addition to Salesforce Sales Cloud expertise, the best candidate will also be verse in Marketing Cloud, Pardot, LeanData, Google Analytics and other enablers to further improve scalable and sustainable results.

The Director of Revenue Operations role is responsible for working with key executives within the growth team, as well as partners across the organization, including sales, marketing, business development, client relations, marketing operations, sales operations, IT, and business analytics to create and execute on a strategy and data accuracy to enhance the effectiveness of process.

What you will be doing:

  • Deep respect for the balance of “science” and the “art” of selling, balancing automation best practices with local intelligence, allowing for the sales process to mirror the buyer’s process

  • Leads the field Support Ticket/case management, working with others in growth ops to ensure timely response to the field. Uses the history of support requests to initiate longer term improvements.

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Cloud to design, implement, and optimize the end-to end sales process

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related initiatives within the Growth Business, and partner with IT ensuring collaborative prioritization to enable revenue growth

  • Build and promote visibility that enables leadership oversight of accurate data within Salesforce, ensuring consistency and timely updates

  • Use dashboards, reports and scorecards to enable the use of analytics and KPIs to provide the field with insights into sales trends, forecasting, and performance metrics

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and IT, to align sales operations with overall business objectives

  • Execute on the strategy of lead generation to revenue process, analysis, and reporting for all businesses within Bright Horizons

  • Works directly with B2B marketing, business development, Client Services and Client Relations to ensure accurate process flow, analysis, and reporting to ensure all reporting is a single source of truth to make decisions

  • Works directly with the Salesforce development team, marketing operations, and IT to ensure all technologies are implemented and capturing the necessary data to capture, route, analyze, and report on leads

  • Is a team-player within Growth Strategy & Operations, Client Services, Client Relations and other functional department, supporting both sustainable activities as well as ad hoc requests

What we hope you will bring to this role:

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred

Experience

7+ years of sales, business development, marketing operations, sales operations experience

Additional Job Requirements

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud experience is required

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Pardot Account Engagement Certification is desirable

  • Experience with Zoominfo, Leandata, outreach.io, Zapier, LinkedIn and other Marketing Technology tools is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

  • Demonstrated ability to create revenue operations strategy, formulate plans, and drive those plans to implementation

  • Ability to use and master a variety of analytical tools to support reporting

  • Strong cross functional skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, take strategic and business direction, and support leadership

  • Ability to develop relationships with senior level sales, marketing, and operations leaders
