About this role:
As CyberArk continues to rapidly grow, we seek a Senior Director of Global Cloud Field Technology to define, own, and operate the field GTM technology strategy for our fast-growing Cloud business. Your responsibilities will include shaping segment strategy, planning technical go-to-market, developing/maturing cross-functional go-to-market execution mechanisms, partnering with functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Partner, and Product) to measure and monitor progress against the plan, identifying signals, gaps, opportunities, and developing well researched data driven recommendations for new technical initiatives and investments. You must be comfortable with leading and influencing cross functional global teams in dynamic organizations as most of your responsibilities will have interdependencies with other teams within CyberArk.
The right candidate will have successful experience in growth-oriented leadership roles in the technology sector with focus on Cloud Native development. You will have deep cloud domain expertise, and deeply appreciate how CyberArk can help companies adopt CyberArk for their security business needs. You will need a strong analytical acumen, synthesis, structuring, and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguous and often incomplete information into action plans and insights. You will need demonstrated experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and alignment, solid program management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, and strong data and metrics bias.
This leader will be an inspirational executive who builds high performance teams and seeks to hear from diverse voices across the business. The leader will build a strategic long-term business and deliver in the near term. The individual\'s breadth and depth of technical leadership experiences will enable them to lead the team in engagements at the CxO and Board of Director level, as well as with VP/Dir of Engineering, DevOps, and IT.

What you will do:
- Develop or enhance mechanisms to deeply understand Enterprise and Digital Native customer technical needs, gaps, and opportunities.
- Lead and collaborate on annual business and technical go-to-market planning for the Cloud Security business.
- Develop and mature cross-functional engagement mechanisms for planning and execution.
- Develop and mature measurement and monitoring mechanisms for the business plan, including metrics capture, reporting, and analytics for identifying signals, opportunities, and challenges.
- Develop and execute the enablement strategy for both internal and external technical stakeholders.
- Incubate new strategic initiatives for the segment. Hire teams/resources to transition and scale incubation initiatives.
- Engage customers\' CxOs to help accelerate their cloud security with CyberArk.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
5+ years of relevant experience in a large startup and/or Cloud Service Provider.
10+ years of relevant leadership experience in the cloud techno ogy-led business development, GTM, advisory, and/or strategy/transformation roles.
Technology depth and breadth - both enterprise IT and cloud technologies. Be highly credible with senior technologists, product leaders, and CxO audiences.
Exceptional business acumen and high judgment - be able to use technology depth and breadth, signals, and data to understand customer pain points and challenges, and inform and shape business growth initiatives.
Very comfortable with developing, implementing, managing and executing through influence across a cross-functional set of senior stakeholders.
Data driven but comfortable with ambiguity. Exceptional problem- solver. Adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions.
Strong bias for starting from customers\' perspective. Favors iterative hypothesis/test/analyze/improve pragmatic approaches.
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
Balanced technical leadership experience across business development, field engagement, and technic
