*VP SALES & CUSTOMER CARE AMERICAS

HOME OFFICE CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN US, PREFERABLY IN THE NORTHEAST US

POSITION BASIC PURPOSE*

Develops, manages and guides sales planning, policies and activities for the Electrical Power sales function. Proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume, development of new markets and customers and market share growth.

The Vice President of Sales will effectively communicate the mission of the sales team based on the segment s strategic direction. They will determine the most effective form of sales representation and continually improve the structure and skills of the team in order to execute the mission. The Vice President of Sales must provide leadership in establishing a culture of sales growth, set the standards for performance and conduct and clearly define the tasks through clear goal setting and performance measurements. Specifically directs the activities of the VP s of Distribution and OEM Sales, Latin America Sales Manager along with Technical Services and Customer Care.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Attain Americas sales budgets, both Distribution and OEM

Attain sales budgets in South America and Mexico.

Prepare annual sales budget for approval.

Direct and manage the sales force to achieve maximum efficiency.

Attain specific goals regarding strategic sales issues, such as new account development or product/market penetration.

Position and support Mersen via the sales communication plan and the strategic marketing plan

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES)

BS/BA in Business, Liberal Arts or Engineering, MBA preferred.

Combined with 10+ years of professional experience in the Electrical Industry leading and building high performing sales teams.
