Purpose/Objective:

The VP of Sales Development and Support has primary responsibility to oversee and insure quality in the pipeline and forecasting process across the entire sales team. Responsibilities include managing the inside sales and customer support team and implementing a strategic, metrics-driven approach to meet growth targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the weekly pipeline review and forecast process.

  • Responsible for maximizing the potential of our Inside Sales Development and Support team, providing daily guidance, coaching and training to meet or exceed goals on targets

  • Provides support to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by owning a process that optimizes Sales Qualified Lead generation via inbound Marketing Qualified Lead follow-up and outbound cold prospecting.

  • Manage, coach, and optimize the Sales Development and Support department

  • Develop and implement repeatable, predictable sales and operations processes

  • Continuously monitor metrics and help the team improve by understanding their performance, leveraging systems including Salesforce

  • Work with marketing and sales leadership to continuously refine the sales development team’s messaging to increase prospect engagement

  • Partner with leadership to develop and achieve quarterly plans

  • Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in business administration or a related field, MBA a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful previous experience leading and or managing an Inside Sales effort to consistently meet or exceed targets

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Experience with Sales Engagement platforms a plus

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong Salesforce.com skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: the ability to speak knowledgeably, clearly and persuasively to a diverse range of audiences

  • Experience selling credit products and services a plus.

  • Data-driven, analytical, and fact-based approach to making business recommendations and decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage direct reports in a matrix environment
