How will you make an impact?

Focus will be on establishing an end-to-end enterprise-wide Supplier Relationship Management program. The scope will include developing means to effectively assess and govern supplier management, Supplier Business Review methodology, key in-process and output program metrics and actively participating in our Global Supplier Quality Council. This individual will be a key interface between Procurement Leadership, Category Management and Divisional Procurement Partners.

What will you do?

  • Develop our supplier relationship management program roadmap, methodology and governance model

  • Create a supplier evaluation/rating system (standard and global – documented, defined, communicated, trained)

  • Drive Standardization/Harmonization in processes & execution

  • Establish, train, and maintain standard practices in support of our supplier relationship management program

  • Partner with peer departments (Finance/AP, Legal, Quality, Business Management, etc.) to communicate and align on SRM requirements and process

  • With Category Leadership and Divisional Procurement Partners, establish our governance model and reporting methodology for supplier business reviews and key supplier messaging across the enterprise

  • With Category Leadership and Divisional Procurement Partners, develop and deploy supplier segmentation processes and development plans that drive the identification, growth and development of strategic and preferred suppliers

  • Establish standard KPI’s to measure general supplier performance and supplier value creation with reporting mechanisms

  • Develop, deploy and deliver training materials as required or desired

  • Provide leadership in identifying and incorporating best practices to drive towards a world class supplier management program

  • Establish a Supplier Profile with defined data attributes & data management (storage, evaluation, updates, etc.)

  • Partner with Digital Procurement to enable/optimize SRM capabilities, communications, goals, targets, etc.

  • Partner with MDM/Data Governance teams to ensure good SRM data standards and adoption

How will you get here?

  • B.S. degree in (Procurement, Business or Technical Field) required.

  • 7-10 years experience in a Category management, or Global Procurement role

  • Experience in category management process is key

  • Ability to lead cross functional global teams

  • Prior knowledge and experience of key elements involved in Category Management

  • Strong process orientation

  • Candidate must have experience in taking initiatives from concept through to full implementation

  • Candidate will need to be able to effectively manage by influence without authority and to successfully collaborate with colleagues across the globe

  • Candidate must have experience in driving Global multisite initiatives
