International Data Group Marketing Director, IT Performance Benchmark and Sourcing Management in Needham, Massachusetts

IDC is seeking an innovative Marketing Director to accelerate the success of our IT Performance Benchmark and Sourcing Management offerings.

The Marketing Director, IT Performance Benchmark and Sourcing Management will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs that capture and nurture marketing leads across multiple channels. These programs will include outreach to our existing database through marketing automation, lead generation through events and search engine marketing. This individual will work closely with the VP of Marketing and other key stakeholders to define, prioritize and execute a marketing and sales enablement plan to develop this segment for IDC.

This position is located in IDC's Needham, MA headquarters.

  • Lead the development and execution of innovative demand generation and lead generation efforts that accelerate the volume of marketing qualified leads.

  • Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend.

  • Develop integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase the marketing database and overall pipeline (e.g., Google PPC, content marketing).

  • Develop creative approaches to building diverse assets including business value content such as digital white papers, website content, social media, and video to drive awareness and interest.

  • Work closely with product owner and key sales managers to build and deliver a full suite of sales enablement, training, and support tools.

  • Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and next steps.

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or other related degree or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, in the IT industry is preferred.

  • Experience with lead generation strategies is required.

  • Proven experience in managing the creation of marketing materials.

  • Strong organization, prioritization, planning, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Self-manages and motivated with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with strong relationship building and management skills.

  • Marketo experience a plus

  • Travel and event coverage as needed (post-COVID) – up to 10%
