What will you be doing?
In this brand new highly exciting and impactful role as the Vice President of Investor Relations, you will have the unique opportunity to report directly to the company's CEO as you craft a comprehensive investment narrative and present it to the investment community in the lead up to the company's public debut! You'll be responsible for monitoring and presenting the perspectives of the investment community to the company's management and creating investment decks to present the ongoing results to existing investors. There's also plenty of room for you to be involved in future financing and debt rounds, such as working with partners, creating presentations, analyzing data, and weaving a captivating story. Plus, you'll get to collaborate with the Special Operations team to detect potential targets, discover synergies, and negotiate acquisitions - all of which are essential to corporate development.
What we’re looking for in you:
Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Additional certifications such as CFA, CIC, or CFP.
10 -15 years’ experience in investor relations, financial communications, and/or corporate finance.
Proven track record of positive investor relationships, executive-level communications, and presenting/responding to complex scientific/clinical data.
Superior interpersonal/relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.
Deep understanding of capital markets, financial statements/valuation models, Regulation FD, SEC reporting, financial analysis/modeling/valuation, equity/debt raising, M&A, medical device/tech/mobile industry, presentation/story-telling skills.
