As the Product Manager for Software Delivery and Licensing you will drive the experience for the entire software installation and license workflow for end users and IT Administrators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding how new platforms and technologies can be leveraged to improve customer experience and expand business models.

Responsibilities

This position requires a solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure and software deployment methodologies so that you can influence company efforts regarding product licensing, authentication services, and product deployment workflows. You will partner with the Installation and Licensing development team to guide the company as our customers move from traditional on-premise to Cloud native software deployment options.

  • Create a multi-year roadmap to optimize the installation and license management experience

  • Analyze data and gather input from end-users and license administrators to develop requirements

  • Perform market research and industry benchmarks as input into product decisions

  • Help define workflows requiring complex installations, these include Container based configurations, Reference Architectures, and Server products

  • Work with customer facing staff to support customers and ensure requirements are met and supporting materials developed

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience and eagerness to work with software development teams in a highly collaborative, consensus-based team environment

  • Experience presenting to internal and/or customer audiences.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Enterprise B2B business models

  • Understanding of licensing tools, user authentication solutions, and customer facing license portals

  • Direct experience with various software deployment and delivery mechanisms such as Containers and Cloud

  • Experience using MATLAB

  • Experience in product marketing and/or product management

  • Experience supporting sales and/or marketing for technical software products

  • Experience with platforms and operating systems
