Waters Strategic Marketing Manager in Milford, Massachusetts

The Strategic Marketing Manager position is a highly visible role within Waters. This critical role will own Chemistry Technology Center portfolio metrics with a goal of identifying future growth opportunities. This position will lead the strategic and financial evaluations of emerging business opportunities. As part of a matrixed organization, and in collaboration with internal and external teams, he or she will explore opportunities for growing bottom line. The Strategic Marketing Manager will own portfolio metrics that monitors portfolio health such as portfolio value and vitality index and will support portfolio optimization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own portfolio metrics and related analytics

  • Own evaluation of new business opportunities

  • Assess portfolio resource allocation and suggest optimal allocation to grow bottom line

  • Assess opportunities for business partnerships and collaborations

  • Through datamining explore and identify new opportunities for topline growth

  • Develop and track KPI’s for new initiatives

  • Present data and recommendations to management team for decision making

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in finance or related discipline required, MBA strongly preferred

  • At least five years experience in FP&A or strategic marketing required

  • Expertise is data analytics and visualization software such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau required

  • Programming skills in Python and R desired

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time results

  • Demonstrated successful communication and presentation skills to management teams

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Proven capability to work in a matrixed environment

  • Accountability and demonstrated ownership of projects

  • Experience in analytical chemistry or related life science industries desired
