Waters is in the process of transforming our global customer experience. The Senior Web Testing & Optimization Specialist will be an experienced and passionate marketing professional who will help to deliver an outstanding experience to customers through our websites and digital channels.
This will involve developing and implementing segmentation, testing and personalization strategies and processes on the Adobe platform – Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign. You will be working closely with a worldwide team of analytics, content, design and business professionals, with the goal of improving online engagement, lead generation and purchase conversion. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to function as a key subject matter expert, providing a pragmatic, best practice approach to digital experience optimization.
This position requires a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including the methodologies of segmentation for testing and personalization. The ability to select and prioritize projects based on alignment with marketing objectives and potential business impact is critical.
Help define scope, priorities and strategies for a robust personalization program crossing all geographies and leveraging analytics, customer feedback, and stakeholder input
Work with global stakeholders to identify those opportunities which provide the biggest impact on key purchase and engagement metrics
Identify segments to better target the online experience, build audiences in Adobe Audience Manager, and integrate these customer segments into an online experience to enable the presentation of relevant experiences to different types of customers/visitors
Apply experience testing and personalization tools for web, email and other channels utilizing Adobe Target, Campaign, and Analytics
Continually communicate progress / results to cross-functional and worldwide team members
3+ years relevant experience in testing and optimization, personalization, web analytics or some other highly-quantitative field, preferably for a B2B company
Solid understanding of marketing best practices and principles, with a focus on digital
BA/BS in marketing, statistics, economics, math, finance, engineering or other related field, advanced degree a plus
Comprehensive experience with web analytics platform(s) such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
Comprehensive experience with testing, optimization, personalization and experimental test platform(s) such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, etc.
Very strong communication skills and in particular, strong technical presentation skills
