Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience, the Senior UX Designer will be responsible for producing delightful, impactful, and consistent user experiences on Waters digital platforms to drive deeper customer engagement.
The Sr. UX Designer will leverage modern digital platforms and best practices to deliver quality, accessible experiences to all users across our digital channels (web, mobile, social, etc). Work may include web page design, high and low fidelity prototyping, digital advertising creation, asset creation and management, digital content management, and front-end styling. This individual will collaborate with fellow designers, members of the digital operations team, global and local marketing teams, and the product management team. The Senior UX Designer will need to be a strong team player, work well under pressure, and committed to consistently producing high-quality work.
The ideal candidate will be an assertive, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen, who is comfortable with shifting priorities, and the demands of managing the nuances of a global eCommerce footprint.
Design brand-compliant assets that will perpetuate a consistent user experience across all digital touchpoints.
Design experiences based on UX artifacts such as experience maps and user flows.
Create low and high-fidelity prototypes.
Work closely with marketing operations and communications teams to execute marketing campaigns.
Develop templates and processes for efficient workflows.
Build web pages, emails, digital advertising, and interactive experiences to delight customers.
Be passionate about digital marketing and user experience, exploring new ideas, tools, and technologies.
Plan and execute user testing sessions with internal and external customers.
Utilize, develop and evolve our design system to drive consistency of UX across the organization.
BA/BS in Design (graphic design, interaction design, visual communication design or related field).
5+ years of experience in a digital design role.
A portfolio of related work detailing work from prototype to developed product.
Fluent in design patterns and trends across digital platforms.
Experience developing and working within a design system.
Knowledge of and experience implementing WCAG accessibility standards.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (UXPin a plus).
Experience working with a web content management and digital asset management system, ideally Adobe Experience Manager and/or Marketo.
Solid communication skills and with the ability to articulate design ideas and gain consensus.
Must be detail-oriented.
Ability to handle numerous activities, simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
