Public Relations Manager

Manage a public relations department along with its staff. Directs publicity programs and campaigns, improves public image of company, and clarifies company's point of view on important issues.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the planning, development, implementation and execution of regional public relations and communications programs

  • Lead the development of news announcements, written statements, talking points and Q&As for ground breakings and topping off's and service offerings and ongoing PR campaigns, partnerships, etc.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities that will further Consigli's brand awareness including speaking/event opportunities, awards, and contributed content

  • Liaise with team, and project executives to orchestrate communications to identify and craft compelling storylines across business and innovations

  • Provide support for various special events and conferences

  • Respond to press inquiries and support Director of Marketing with response

  • Track and report campaign results, measure program success and report metrics via marketing business intelligence tools

  • Serve as a liaison to PR agency to plan and execute PR campaigns

  • Manage and execute social media strategy and content plan

  • Support the Director of Marketing on special projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience within the Public Relations and/or Communications field.

  • Proven track record of creating highly successful media relations programs.

  • Proven track record of responding quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urgent PR matters.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position oversees employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees in those areas.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 pm.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, with occasional out of state and overnight travel. Less than 10% of time travel expected
